CEO Profile
Mayu Kashitani
Founder of the piano school "Blue Sky Music Studio" in Vancouver, Canada. Representative of the music agency "Arvo Artists".
After building a career of over 13 years as a dedicated piano instructor at Kawai Music School in Japan, she relocated to Vancouver, Canada. She acquired a local business license and established her own piano studio. Committed to community-based teaching, the studio is currently celebrating its 12th year of operation.
In 2021, she had a fateful encounter with pianist Piotr Alexewicz at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. Profoundly moved by his overwhelming musicality and talent, she began working alongside him as his assistant with a strong resolve to "help him take flight into the world." Through their closely-knit partnership, she successfully guided him to the monumental achievement of winning 5th Prize at the same competition in 2025.
Driven by this experience and a passionate desire to support brilliant, next-generation talents destined for the global stage—starting with Piotr—she founded the artist management agency "Arvo Artists." The name "Arvo" translates to "value" or "dignity" in Finnish and was chosen by Piotr himself.
Both as an educator and a manager with a discerning aesthetic sense, she provides global support for the activities of artists who will shape the future of music.
